About our Trainers

Owner/Founder: Danni-Ann Moran

Danni-Ann has been actively training and competing in the sport of IGP (Schutzhund) since 2019. While being involved in this sport she has been mentored and coached by multiple international level competitors, analyzing their techniques, understanding their methods and, improving her own methods and training through this with both her personal and client dogs. Danni-Ann is now a National level handler herself and will continue to have her eyes on the ultimate goal of competing internationally. Danni-Ann's passion for helping owners and their dogs started shortly after beginning the sport when she realized how much the techniques and methods used for the advanced obedience training could benefit every day dogs and their owners. Since then she has put all of her time into learning how to teach relationship building, channel drives into usable energy, engagement, how to read your dog and, communicate effectively to create a partnership between you and your dog that allows you to experience life in harmony.

Danni-Ann has found a love for training working and pet dogs. She offers an inviting approach that makes training fun for everyone involved. She enjoys teaching owners the necessary skills required, so that they can enjoy their dog. She achieves this by providing owners with the tools and techniques needed to work on present and future issues as they may occur.

Trainer: Megan Innes

Megan is a dog training enthusiast originally from Sipekne’katik First Nation in Nova Scotia. She has broadened her understanding of canine obedience by working alongside multiple international level handlers and numerous trainers across Canada. With her passion and love for canines driving her, she has been dedicated from a young age to learning and understanding all aspects of the dogs we share our lives with every day.

In October 2020, Megan began ardently training in the sport of IGP (formerly Schutzhund). While training in this sport Megan has strived to master her dog handling skills, understanding of communication and learned how to properly build solid training foundations. This has led her to the successful practical application of training methods learned and upgraded her knowledge of working and companion dog training. With a background in Social Service Work education, Megan has developed an in-depth understanding of ethics and the importance of strong, adaptive, and effective communication. It is with this knowledge that Megan has been able to provide a clear and welcoming approach to training for owners and dogs to enjoy and thrive in.

Megan has actively worked with one of her personal dogs that has struggled with nervous tendencies, anxiety and fear based reactivity. Through working with said personal dog, she has created an in-depth understanding of the patience and time that working with reactive dogs takes and learned how to work through their triggers, understand thresholds, use proper communication and, create confidence to build neutrality.

Beginning from a young age, Megan has always enjoyed and found ways to work with dogs, whether it be training her own dogs or working with others. Since then, her passion and love for training dogs has evolved into a professional position.  Now with 3 German Shepherds in her household, Megan plans on continuing to train in the working world with long term goals of high level competition.

Megan is available for Day Training, Private Sessions and, Board and Trains in Edmonton.
